Pertama kita harus membuat USB BOOTABLE
Untuk membuat USB bootable, sebenarnya ada banyak cara. Diantaranya dengan menggunakan aplikasi “UNetbootin” dari situs http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/. Cara ini paling banyak digunakan untuk membuat bootable USB.
Untuk kali ini, saya akan mencoba memberikan panduan dengan cara lain, yaitu dengan HP USB Disk Format Tool. Pertama-tama, download & ekstrak 2 berikut, yaitu HP USB Disk Format Tool dan Windows 98 System Files. Selanjutnya ikuti langkah-langkah berikut :
- Lakukan install terlebih dahulu aplikasi HP USB Disk Format Tool.
- Masukkan USB anda pada komputer.
- PENTING: Lakukan backup pada seluruh file di USB flash disk anda, karena akan dihapus dalam proses ini.
- Jalankan aplikasi dari HP USB Disk Format Tool.
- Pada device otomatis akan mendeteksi USB anda.
- Pilih FAT32 dari pilihan Filesystem.
- Lakukan centang contreng pada opsi “Create a DOS startup disk”.
- Pada pilihan textbox yang ada, lakukan pada browse pada file Windows 98 system yang sudah diekstrak.
- Setelah itu, klik tombol Start.
- Klik Yes jika ada box peringatan tentang penghapusan file.
- Selanjutnya, kopikan seluruh file dari Windows 98 system ke USB flash disk untuk bisa mengaktifkan deteksi CD-ROM dan mouse.
Untuk pengguna Netbook seperti AA1, anda bisa menekan F12 setelah proses startup.
Kedua kita harus menginstal mikrotik
Langkah-langkahnya:
Seperti pada umumnya SO, Mikrotik juga perlu diinstal terlebih dahulu sebelum digunakan, tetapi ada juga yang sudah diinstalkan pada suatu router. pada kesempatan ini saya akan mempost CARA MENGINSTAL MIKROTIK pada PC/LAPTOP. Perlu diketahui sebelumnya, Pada Instalasi Mikrotik berbeda dengan SO yang lain yang perlu memartisi hardisk, Pada Mikrotik sudah secara otomatis mengisi dan menggunakan semua partisi yang tersedia.
Berikut adalah Caranya.
1. Pertama setting BIOS untuk Booting CD.
2. Masukkan CD MASTER lalu "save and exit" pada BIOS.
3. BOOTING CD :
Beri Centang pada semua pilihan dengan menekan tombol [SPASI]. seperti pada gambar diatas.
4. Jika sudah, Tekan Tombol "I" lalu "Y" lalu "Y" lagi,, Dan tunggu proses selesai.
5. Jika sudah. Tekan [ENTER] Untuk merestart.
